Wasn't sure what to expect at this price point. Turns out — a lot. The fit and finish is exceptional, the blade geometry is aggressive in the best way, and it arrived razor sharp. This thing is the real deal.

Absolute beast of a knife feels great in the hand

Knife is good and heavy for chopping, yet not heave to do everything else with. What I would have loved to see is a pouch on the sheath stone, or holder for diamond stick sharpener as well as one for the sparker black stick

Got the Hobart this month, and it is a brute! VERY solid blade. Really heavy in the hand and good for heavy duty camp work like chopping kindling. You could actually chop down a tree with this thing, if you had to. The sheath is nice and well constructed also. Really happy with it.

I got this knife for my daughter, who is a hunter, and got another one for myself. As it turns out it is a heavy-duty intermediate between an knife and a hatchet. Great for cutting venison. Particularly the 10mm back of the blade is helpful. Great knife, absolutely no regrets!
